The guardrails

You'll want to know where the lines are. So do we.

  • Coaching, not therapy. Sunward never diagnoses, never treats, and says so plainly to every user. It's the practice field between your sessions.
  • Crisis routing is non-negotiable. Signals of crisis route to 988 and emergency resources. Sol never absorbs what a professional should see, and always tells your client to reach a human.
  • The Anti-Manipulation Rule. Sol is never used to manipulate a child, even “positively.” Drafts that cross the line get flagged and rewritten.
  • The client owns their data, and holds it. Any summary is the client's to keep and share. Nothing about a client reaches you unless the client chooses to bring it. You never enter or route patient records through Sunward.
  • Not a covered entity, by design. Your clients use Sunward themselves, as consumers. Sunward is not your business associate and holds no PHI on your behalf, so partnering with us adds nothing to your HIPAA footprint.

Refer

Give clients your provider code. They enroll themselves and get an extended free runway. You see only that referred clients are active, as a count, never their identity or content.

Recommend the practice

Recommend Sunward as structured between-session work: daily Turns, regulation check-ins, rehearsals before hard conversations. Your client can bring their own progress summary to each session, if and when they choose.

Cover it

Practices, courts, and EAPs can sponsor seats with redeemable codes. Clients activate them themselves and you never see which client used what. Every sponsored parent also funds a free seat in the Field.
